Arayik Harutyunyan Presents 2023 Budget Application of Prime Minister’s Office: We try to improve the budget quality year by year by giving up inefficient expenditures
1 / 1

“The budget allocation of the RA Prime Minister’s Office has been reduced for 2023,” the Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan said, presenting the budget application of the Prime Minister’s Office for 2023.

“We try to improve the budget quality year by year by giving up inefficient expenditures,” Arayik Harutyunyan noted, pointing to the reduction of the car park. He underlined that 6 cars were reduced this year: from a total 46 to 40.

The Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister emphasized that the reduction of the car park is not the only one. There is a decrease of 86 million AMD under the Ensuring the Powers of the Prime Minister program, and the Modernization of the State Sector program has also been completed.

According to Arayik Harutyunyan, the budget allocation of the Public Awareness program, as well as the Armenia-Diaspora cooperation program, was increased by 217 million. “We have an increase of 1.4 billion with the Inspection Control program, within the framework of which various measures will be implemented to increase the efficiency of inspection bodies,” he said.

The Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan also answered the deputies’ questions.

The RA NA deputy Mikayel Tumasyan asked whether the increase of 1.4 billion in inspection control also implies an increase in the number of employees and an increase in salaries. Arayik Harutyunyan noted that they did not plan to increase the number of vacancies. There are many vacancies, which need to be filled. He emphasized that the problem of serious technical support is being solved.
